At our core, we want to do the right thing, but the right thing often requires sacrifice, perseverance, or humility. It's MUCH easier to focus on good but lesser things that don't require as much. Jesus has something to say about that.

The Very Next Thing | Neglecting Small Things

In Micah 6:6-8 God speaks of "little things" like justice, mercy, and walking humbly with God. Jesus refers to this passage in Matthew 23:23 and lets us know that little things become big things.
